Our Story
This page is truly for those of you who care to learn more about our adoption journey. When we wished to add to our family, after several years we decided that adoption was the best way to make that happen. We hope that this site will help others interested in adopting internationally as well as keep our family and friends updated in the long process.


Why China?
This is probably one of the first questions that pop into people's thoughts. An easy answer would be why *not* China? But to help others understand our decision to adopt from China, a more detailed explaination is here.


The Process
The process to adopt from China begins the same way that all international adoption begins. There are four steps or milestones in the process... The first step is often referred to affectionately as The Paperchase to get your homestudy and dossier completed, then comes The Wait (although you tend to be waiting alot at various stages) followed by The Referral and Travel to China.
